11 November 2020 – The Office of Tax Simplification has published a report into Capital Gains Tax, following an earlier request from the Chancellor for a review of this tax.  Although not directly referencing investment gains in life insurance companies, any changes that may be taken forward by government could affect the relative competitiveness of life products.
