5 August 2019 – HMRC has published a new Life Assurance Manual containing guidance on the corporation tax treatment of insurance companies writing life assurance and other long-term insurance business.  A draft of the manual had previously been published, on which comments had been fed back to HMRC, but not all comments have been incorporated.
